BiG Sav is back with the second installment of his “Look Me In The Eye” series. The first in the lineup released last year and seemed to be more personal, more emotional and more introspective.
LMITE2 doesn’t stick to that trend and finds it’s own path with more of a momentum if you will. I love the project. Love how he kicks the project off with audio from one of my favorite films of all time, Paid In Full. It segues perfectly into The Chase which is lowkey a Harlem kind of sound. Storms keeps the pace going but in a different direction. Love the content of this song. It’s the perfect transition record to BiG Cap which I could heat MGK on all day.
He speeds it up next with Ransom, another BANGER. He breaks the chain with No Trust. The sample is so strong, it stands out so much. Asshole is its own entire vibe. The seventh song on the project is his hit single, My Lil’ Bae – SLAPPER. Sav caps the project off with June 28th which is oozing pain.
The vibe is very eery and the bars are very heavy. Solid ass body of work. Press play you diiiig!
